Located in the heart of Waikiki Beach, and tucked away in Stay Hotel Waikiki on Koa Avenue (behind the Hyatt Hotel), is Sway Restaurant + Bar. As the newest restaurant/bar in Waikiki, Sway is quickly cementing its status as Waikiki’s best new hotspot for incredible food and delish drinks in an exciting atmosphere.
Sway incorporates the elements of a classic neighborhood lounge, with a sleek and modern ambiance, while serving up a mouthwatering menu of Asian-American comfort cuisine. Sway features a menu that surprises the senses by adding an Asian twist to classic American dishes with unique, artistic presentations. This concept has allowed Sway to offer a creative dining experience that appeals to everyone in an area where a good value is hard to find.
The signature dishes at Sway may be twists on American classics, but they include a full spectrum of various Asian flavors. From the Korean style kalbi tacos with spicy kimchi and daikon radish sprouts to the porter braised short riblets with Chinese fermented black beans and sambal, there is a dish for everyone. Sway also offers several different burgers ranging in style from a traditional American burger with Hawaiian grass fed beef, apple wood smoked bacon and Wild Turkey bourbon sauce to a Vietnamese Banh-mi burger with pickled carrots, daikon threads, sliced jalapeno and Nuoc Cham Chay spread. The menu at Sway is perfect for dining or sharing in the lounge with friends.
To complement the cuisine, Sway offers an array of 27 different beer selections, with 12 available on draft. You won’t find any college barrel party beers here. We have selected a beer list that showcases some of the best local island beers, and some favorites from the mainland and around the world. The selections are specifically chosen to compliment the menu, while providing a refreshing reprieve from a day of adventure on the island. Sway also has a full cocktail bar with premium selections on call, and an extensive list of specialty drinks designed by our own in-house mixologist.
